“Seven Seeds of Summer”  follows the story of a girl named Summer, a college art student who has grown up obsessed with Greek Mythology. She has spent most of her life completely in love with the darkest of all Gods: Hades. Summer returns home from her first semester to Point Judith, Rhode Island to find a mysterious figure on their family beach. The stranger comes to her with questions regarding a familiar myth: Persephone and Hades. The man tells her a version of the story Summer never knew and how she might just be the missing piece of the greatest mystery of Persephone and Hades.

A trip to Greece leads to tragic twists, leaving Summer in the arms of the strange figure whom she had met in Point Judith. The strange man who claimed to be Hades himself. He takes her on a whirlwind through the busy streets of Athens, down to the lowest point of Greece where his lair awaits: The Underworld. Determined to find the truth about herself and her piece in the myth, Summer journeys with Hades in hopes of unlocking the secrets that await her in the Underworld. In the end, Summer must decide to follow her heart or follow the same footsteps of the mysterious woman in her past life, and in his.

Chantal Gadoury is young author who currently lives in Delaware, though originally from Muncy PA, with her two cats, Theo and Harper, and her fiancé Robert. Chantal enjoys to paint, drink a good cup of coffee when she can and enjoy her favorite Disney favorites.
