Katie Murphy has always had a passion for storytelling. She was never one for small talk and one-word answers. Instead, she would rather tell you her mishaps and adventures in long, sometimes exaggerated, detail. She was a staff writer for two local newspapers in the DC Metro area where she grew up. Katie published 300 articles and interviewed a number of celebrities and politicians, but fiction has always been her deepest desire. As a debut author, Katie finally feels she can take off her mask and reveal her dreamy, creative soul. She currently resides in sunny San Diego with her husband and newborn baby girl.
