Tom Sullivan

Tom Sullivan is an avid, self-guided outdoorsman, writer and artist. He started writing lyrics and songs in his teens for the band Eternity. The group recorded an album and received regular airplay for multiple years. After graduation from high school in 1992, Tom attended and graduated from the School of Communication Arts in Raleigh, NC in 1995.

After nearly fifteen years as a graphic designer, Sullivan began writing fishing reports, eight of which received front-page awards on Ncangler.com. From these reports, he began to create more elaborate essays, detailing his unique experiences and observations. Tom also wrote for Wideopenspaces.com for the majority of 2015, but opted to resign so as to concentrate on his writing projects, artwork and his website Adventurenaturewriting.com, where he blogs and sells woodworking and artwork. Tom hopes his writing, while being engaging and descriptive of many magical places, will also bring awareness of the need to conserve and properly manage these irreplaceable natural resources.
