Lucy Griffiths

Lucy Griffiths was born on a Sunday on April 11th 1976. That was the hottest summer on record in Britain and Lucy’s mum hasn’t stopped telling her that since. She has 5 brothers and a sister and her big brilliant family are the most important thing to her. Lucy is a primary school teacher and teaches year 5. She always loved writing stories and knew she wanted to be a teacher from being a very little girl. Playing school and lining her dolls and teddies up to take the register was a regular occurrence. Her bossiness and love of performing definitely help.
Lucy is married to her wonderful husband Jason, and they have one precious son Barnaby. They were told they’d never have children so he really is their little miracle. They live near the sea in a village called Felpham in West Sussex. Lucy loves cooking, keeping fit and writing. She has thrown herself out of a plane, climbed Sydney Harbour Bridge, been on 3 television quiz shows and had had a pet peacock called Alicia.
